Our marching bands are one of the reasons why Wicomico County Public Schools is consistently named one of the Best Communities for Music Education by the NAMM Foundation. Marching band participation meets several of the school system's strategic priorities, including Student Achievement, Student Engagement, High-Performing Workforce, and Parent & Community Involvement. (School Climate & Safety is the fifth strategic priority.)
