WICOMICO HIGH SCHOOL'S FOOD PANTRY

Wicomico High School has partnered with the Maryland Food Bank to start the WiHi Food Pantry.  This service is available for ALL WiHi Students regardless of age or income level.

Orders can be picked up on distribution days at WiHi. If you are driving, please drive up to the front office and remain in your vehicle. Tell a volunteer whose order you are picking up, and they will bring it out. The student who orders does not have to be present to have the order picked up. If you are walking or biking, please wear a mask. You will also pick up outside the front office.

The food pantry is available free to all students. We do not ask for any proof of need or income. We do not report any personal information. The information on this form is required to help prepare and plan for food distribution. We do complete a monthly report for the Maryland Food Bank, but the report does not contain any personal information such as names and emails. We are not requiring students phone numbers for food recalls; all contact will be through the WCBOE email.

Visit here to sign up: https://forms.gle/qJSo83fPAxUgFxwp8 (You must be signed up the day before distribution day so there is time to prepare all of the orders).

How to donate to the WiHi Food Pantry:

Although we have partnered with the Maryland Food Bank, we do not receive the food for free.  We are always accepting donations of non-perishable food items and personal hygiene items for our pantry!  Some examples of items we can use are:

A HUGE thank you to the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore for awarding us a grant to get this program started, the Maryland Food Bank, and to Mrs. Ault for being the WiHi Food Pantry coordinator.
